Here's exactly how it works — not a course about AI, not a "build a second brain" pitch. This is the actual thing that drafts my client replies, writes my proposals, and turns my real work into content. Whether you're running full-time or starting something on the side, this is how you'd have your own version of it.
Client work — the part that pays — takes me a couple of hours on a quiet day, more on a delivery day. It's not a huge income by itself. It's enough to run a real, paying, solo business — no employees, no contractors, nobody else in it but me.
The other hours in my day mostly go into the system you're reading about right now. Not because I enjoy admin work — because I'd rather build things once and reuse them than keep trading hours for money forever. I'm not going to tell you this makes anyone a millionaire. What I can tell you is what it's actually done: most of the time I used to lose figuring out what AI could even do for a task — testing prompts, reading docs, hitting dead ends — is already solved and sitting in a folder, reusable. That's given me back real pieces of an ordinary work-from-home day: a slow walk through my own garden, or coffee outside in the quiet, while the system drafts my client replies and warm-lead replies in the background and keeps track of every order and every dollar without me opening a spreadsheet. Laundry done at 2pm instead of piling up until Sunday.
Small. Honest. It adds up, and it's the actual reason I built this — not because "AI automation" sounds impressive.
I didn't design this system on a whiteboard first. I brain-dumped exactly how I already ran my business — every decision I kept re-explaining, every reply I kept rewriting from scratch — into files, then built the system around that. Once I could see it laid out, I could see what was actually automatable, and I started cutting paid software I no longer needed because the system already did the job.
And this isn't only for people already running a full business. If you're working full-time and want to start something on the side, this is exactly the kind of leverage that makes that realistic — it doesn't take the hours it used to. The reason most side businesses die isn't the idea, it's that there's no time left after a full-time job to also answer every message and chase every lead by hand.
No app. No dashboard. No monthly software subscription running the show. The entire system is plain markdown files — the same kind of file a to-do list app might export — organized into folders that describe themselves: who I am, what I charge, who my clients are, what I decided last week and why.
Claude (the AI) reads those files instead of me re-explaining my business every single time I open a chat. The files live on my computer and in a private backup that syncs them — which means I can open the exact same system, with the exact same memory, from my phone in a coffee shop or my laptop at home. Nothing gets rebuilt. Nothing gets forgotten between sessions.
I never learned to code in school. What Claude Code and Codex actually changed for me isn't "AI writes replies" — it's that I understand the principles behind coding and APIs well enough to direct the build, and the AI handles the syntax I never formally learned. That's the real unlock: it's not outsourcing the thinking, it's removing the one barrier (not knowing how to write it) that used to stop the thinking from becoming a real thing.
What that's actually let me build myself, no developer involved:
Total cost to run all of it: $20/month for one AI subscription — I actually pay $40/month since I run both Claude and ChatGPT/Codex side by side for different projects, but either one alone covers this. What it replaced: separate paid tools for scheduling, client tracking, and content planning that I no longer pay for at all.
Pick the kind of business closest to yours. This is a sketch, not a sales pitch — the point is showing you what stays a draft the AI writes, and what always stays a decision only you make.
I'll build your version of this system for your actual business, then teach you how to run and update it yourself. Billed hourly at $150/hour — everyone's setup is different, so a fixed price would either overcharge the simple builds or undersell the complex ones. Most builds run 8–25 hours depending on scope, estimated after a short written intake, never a call.
